March 2012 – On Wednesday, 28 March 2012, the mayor of Heerhugowaard, Han ter Heegde, and the chairman of the Metaalunie, Michaël van Straalen, handed out Corporate Social Responsibility certificates to Verzinkerij Heerhugowaard, Verzinkerij Kampen, Verzinkerij Wolvega and Poedercoating Hoogeveen. A demonstration of the fact that the ROTO surface treatment companies incorporate corporate social responsibility in their business policies.

March 2012 – The Meerland appartment building in Almere Poort consists of 56 flats of different types. Striking features are the floor-to-ceiling French windows and the French balconies, creating uninterrupted views, lots of light and an urban look. The balustrades for the galleries and stairs, privacy screens, fall-prevention facilities and balcony fencing were hot-dip galvanised by Verzinkerij Kampen and then given two powder coatings by Poedercoating Hoogeveen.

December 2011 – New decorative fencing was put into place at the new entrance building with the ticket office, and the reception plaza of Fairytale Wonderland in Enkhuizen. This fencing was treated with the Duplex Route: hot-dip galvanised by Verzinkerij Kampen and powder coated by Poedercoating Hoogeveen.

November 2011 – Bikers love that ultimate sense of freedom they get from their hobby. They also like to stand out from other bikers, for example with a customised trike. Poedercoating Hoogeveen first blasts the handlebars, mudguards and steel frame parts before powder coating them. So the trike is protected against any weather, and it looks great too.

September 2011 – Three new residential complexes have been built in Oegstgeest with flats for all stages of life. The facts are situated close to the residential care centre Rustenborch and the Van Wijckerslooth nursing home so that the residents can use the facilities at both of these care centres. To make sure that residents and staff are sheltered from the elements on their way from one location to another, there is a covered pathway. Poedercoating Hoogeveen powder coated the aluminium profiles for the pathway.

August 2011 – A former dentist's practice in Neede has made way for a newbuild structure. The new building is in the shape of a molar. Because natural light is beneficial to a dentist's work and also puts the patients at ease, a pyramid-shaped skylight has been added. Poedercoating Hoogeveen powder coated the aluminium profiles for the glass skylight.

July 2011 – Decorative fencing was erected at a traditional Frisian farmhouse in Oudkerk. Oudkerk is in the east of the Dutch province of Friesland and was one of the first places to officially adopt a Frisian (rather than Dutch) name. The decorative fencing was treated with the duplex route system: first hot-dip galvanized by Verzinkerij Kampen and then powder coated by Poedercoating Hoogeveen.

March 2011 – Playing outside is not a straightforward business in a city like The Hague. So playgrounds are needed that are both safe and challenging. Good playing facilities challenge children and stimulate their imaginations. Children with special needs are no exception. So a playground has been set up in the Escamp area with special playing equipment for the disabled. The steel parts of the playing equipment were hot-dip galvanised by Verzinkerij Kampen and then powder coated by Poedercoating Hoogeveen.

December 2010 – Striking modern fencing with a gate was designed for a modern home in Blauwestad. In terms of the design, the choice of the materials and the colour, the fencing was adapted to the residential setting. The quality requirements for this project were strict, and that includes the finishing. That is why the fencing and the gate were treated using the Duplex Route: the steel was galvanised by Verzinkerij Heerhugowaard and then powder coated by Poedercoating Heerhugowaard.

November 2010 – In Egypt, the construction of ‘Dreamland’ is continuing apace. This development, covering an area of some 2000 hectares, comprises a range of residential and work areas, hospitals, schools, hotels, theme parks, shopping centres and sport complexes. A luxury horse riding school is being built as part of the development. The stalls for the school were hot-dip galvanised by Verzinkerij Kampen and powder coated by Poedercoating Hoogeveen.
